Responsibilities of the Deputy Prime Minister for investments:


- coordinates large investment projects (with estimated investment cost over 1 billion euros) implemented by the State or with the participation of the State except for projects co-financed from EU funds,

- coordinates large investment projects, (with estimated investment cost lower than 1 billion euros) implemented by the State or with the participation of the State by decision of the Government except for projects co-financed from EU funds,

- evaluates feasibility and necessity of investment projects mentioned in the paragraphs above,

- submits a feasibility study to the Government with specific proposals for funding and proposals for the construction,

- elaborates Strategy for economic development of the Slovak Republic including the concept of development programs in the economy area.

Deputy Prime Minister for investments further

- is the Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Partnership Agreement for the period 2014 -2020,

- participates in the preparation of Partnership Agreement for the period 2014 - 2020 at the national level,

- participates in the coordination of the use of EU funds for the programme period 2014-2020.
